Mineral Fiber Ceiling Tiles
The tile weight of 0.7lbs/sq ft(2x4 tile = 5.6lbs) matches closely to the weight of standard office ceiling tiles. This feature is great when converting an existing lighter weight 1" office ceiling grid into a cleanroom space. There should be no concerns about the grid supporting the weight.
